Meet our Pastor, Fr. Chris:
Father Chris was born in Boston and attended local schools. His home parish is Our Lady of Good Counsel in Methuen. He graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover, then completed seminary studies at St. John’s in Brighton, Massachusetts. During this time, he served as a deacon at St. Joseph Parish in Needham, and after ordination he served as parochial vicar for Living Water Catholic, the collaborative of Holy Family Parish in Amesbury and Star of the Sea Parish in Salisbury. Fr. Chris is co-founder of the Merrimack Valley Catholic Youth Conference.
Fr. Chris was installed as pastor of our parish in June of 2018.
Many of the initiatives he has prioritized as a pastor are to help our parish become a stronger community so that we may understand, engage with, and meet the needs of everyone God has placed in our lives. Fr. Chris encourages each parishioner to establish daily habits of prayer and contemplation, as well as commitment to liturgical worship and participation. He asks that each of us prayerfully consider getting more involved in community activities and ministries to share time and talents, and to participate in the New Evangelization.
Talk with Fr. Chris after Mass or at a parish event, or any time call 978-372-7721 or email with questions or to set up time to meet one-on-one.
